Following the launch of the online platform \"Talent Service Window\" last year, the entity\"Talent Services Office\"<\/strong>It will be formally set up at the end of October to provide support to talents coming to Hong Kong and follow up on the development and needs of talents after their entry into Hong Kong. To alleviate the pressure of manpower shortage in the skilled trades, overseas students enrolled in designated full-time Higher Diploma (HD) courses of the Vocational Training Council (VTC) from the 2024\/25 academic year onwards will be allowed to stay in Hong Kong for one year after graduation to look for jobs related to their field of study. This arrangement will be implemented on a trial basis for two years before review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year's policy address extended the limit of stay for IANG visas applicable to full-time undergraduate or above students graduating from Hong Kong institutions from one year to two years.
