PART.01

drone show

In line with the theme of "Hong Kong Festivals and Cultural Leap Forward", a visual feast blending technology and tradition - a drone show - will be unveiled on the evening of May 1st.

The show is based on the core idea of the three highly representative intangible cultural heritage festivals in Hong Kong - the blessing spectacle of Tin Hau Festival, the folklore of Tam Kung Festival and the lively revelry of Cheung Chau Bun Festival - and it is well worth seeing.

Buddha Bathing Festival at Po Lin Monastery

Every year from the second to the eighth day of the fourth month of the lunar calendar, the Po Lin Monastery holds a Buddha Bathing Festival to commemorate the birth of the Buddha.

Visitors can participate in the Buddha Bathing Ceremony, view the architecture of the temple, enjoy Buddhist vegetarian dishes and tea, and have some fun on Lantau Island afterward!

Playing with Ma Wan Ba Nianhua

Calling all bus fans to Ma Wan Island! This event is highly recommended for families with little ones visiting Hong Kong.

Two retired vintage buses that served Hong Kong in different eras will be on display at Noah's Ark Hong Kong, allowing people to recapture the strong Hong Kong feeling and learn about the history and characteristics of the retired buses.

There are also eight experience zones for you to play: remote control buses, interactive games, road safety lessons, cold knowledge of bus routes ...... and DIY exclusive bus models and stop signs, which are full of surprises!

Le French May Festival

The annual Le French May Festival is back in Hong Kong!

Under the theme of "French Arts Carnival", you will be immersed in over 120 international arts programs, including dance, theater, music and cool art exhibitions.

Remue Ménage Theatre Company will present a street parade program, "The Night of Illusion Ball", as well as a series of parent-child circus workshops at the French Arts Exchange @ Grand Pavilion!

The 25th Anniversary Special Edition of "The Fancy Pants

Coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the release of the movie "Fancy Dress", this classic masterpiece returns to the big screen in all its glory.

The movie returns to the public with a 4K restored Director's Special Edition. The Special Edition is the longest version ever, with nine minutes of never-before-seen footage!

PopCorn x Time Out's first food market, Tasting Grounds, is coming soon!

Twelve popular food and beverage brands will gather in PopCorn's atrium to create the Hong Kong flavor of the most IN trendy play gravitational field.

Cheung Chau Bun Festival

As a unique national non-heritage festival in Hong Kong, this year's Cheung Chau Bun Festival is a clever collision of traditional beliefs and current trends, with the introduction of popular IP elements such as "Ne Zha" for the first time!

During the day, the Floating Color Parade is transformed into a "Mythological Theater" - children dressed in dazzling colorful costumes and "dancing in the air" on invisible steel supports through the streets and alleys.

At night, the real climax comes! 14-meter-high Bao Mountain stands under the night sky, staging a "Bao Mountain" ultimate showdown! 12 players will compete for the "Bao Mountain King" and "Bao Mountain Queen 12 players will compete for the honor of "King of Bao Shan" and "Queen of Bao Shan".

When you are here, of course you have to taste the authentic peace bun. It is not only a symbol of the festival, but also a blessing of peace in everyone's heart.

This year, the souvenir store will also feature peace packs and giant panda-style handmade candies that are so cute and cuddly that you're guaranteed to love them.
